I loved this inn. From the first email requesting a reservation until checkout the staff was so nice and accommodating. Even the groundskeeper, working in 100+ degrees, was friendly and helpful. His courtyard is a small oasis of colorful flowers and trees. The rooms are spacious and the AC perfect. Breakfast was wonderful. This is an old Texas motel undergoing a facelift and yet keeping its old nostalgic Texas charm. Give it a try to experience Texas of the old days.

“The ice storm closed I-20 and we had to stop in Sweetwater. We had no reservation, but got exactly what we needed. The owner and staff of the Sweetwater Inn were wonderful, even when we had to stay an extra day. The owner kept us up to date on road conditions. The free breakfast in the lobby stayed open beyond its normal close time because people walking across from the I-20 were needing warm food. This was absolutely Texas hospitality at its best”

Great value, and very friendly and helpful people. I would definitely recommend this place. The rooms are clean, and there's plenty of room! The rates are great for long term stays! I absolutely plan to come back. The people are very friendly and extremely helpful. They made our stay wonderful. Anything you need, they'll make sure you're taken care of! My hubby says the restaurant is fantastic too! The office has continental breakfast AND hot breakfast, made to order. Eggs, sausage, burritos, and a make-your-own GIANT TEXAS SHAPED WAFFLE setup. My kids LOVE them! Hot coffee available around the clock! I really would recommend this place if you're visiting the area.

Stayed here for 5 weeks. Clean room. Pets welcome. The longer you stay the cheaper the weekly rate gets. Super friendly and helpful staff. Feels more like a little community of neighbors than a motel. All around a great experience.

Super friendly staff. Front desk called my room once I got settled to make sure everything was ok. It's not a 4 star hotel, but cozy and quiet. Having the bar and grill next door was a huge plus! Karaoke was a blast!

I’m a field welder with ATEC steel so I literally live in hotels. Life on the road, it’s definitely something. I ran across this place by mistake as I was looking for a place to live. Sure glad I did. The people here are amazing. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Like right now for instance.... right now I’m working late. Be a couple hours late getting home. Well I have a dog and she’s on a schedule. No problem, the Asst. Mgr. Dawn is walking her for me. And whenever else I need help the maintenance guy Noah walks her. A real sense of friendship and family. Help is always close by here at the INN. Really nice inner courtyard/pool area. Beautiful trees. Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Housekeeping is ON THEIR JOB. Daily attention always clean and orderly. Breakfast starts at 5:00 am!! Not 6:00am!! There’s a cook ready and waiting when you walk in the door. Just tell them how you like your eggs and bacon and get a breakfast burrito for the road as well. I challenge you to find a better deal anywhere in this area. And after the 4TH week... its 250 a week! All you guys out here on the road... if you’re on the job around Sweetwater ,Texas this is the money spot.

The rooms are a little dated but they are super clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast is the best of anywhere I've ever stayed.

Had the pleasure to stay with Bob and his crew recently at the Sweetwater Inn, the made to order breakfast with the "Texas waffle" was awesome, the rooms were very clean and large. The pool area was so relaxing surrounded by the big pine trees. We were so happy that the Inn was pet friendly, and again, the staff was great!!!

Reflects all that you want in a motel: staff friendliness, clean, inexpensive, security, and top notch breakfast..truly superb! We always stay at this place. Why go elsewhere when this motel is most complete?
